HOW CAN WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

I am available to speak to groups about nurturing children and the Seven Qualities of Nurturing Parents. These are concepts that anyone can learn and apply to their relationships with children or anyone else. If you'd like to talk to me about my program, please feel free to email me through my contact link and I will get back to you quickly.

WE CAN LEARN MORE!

Bad Girls Club is about Destiny and Cassidy. But it's also about families who, for whatever reason, make too many of the worst mistakes and then try to cover them up so no one will find out. Unfortunately, this doesn't solve their problems, it only intensifies them.

There are so many resources available for teens and adults, including parents and educators, who want positive information about how to help children and teens in need.

IT'S ALL ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS

One of the themes of Bad Girls Club is abuse, but it's also about roll reversals, like when the child takes on the parenting role and cares for siblings and the parent. I've listed lots of resources on the left (for teens and also for adults) that relate to these issues, and then some more.

Take some time and look over them. Child abuse is a world-wide epidemic and the statistics are staggering. My hope is that these resources will help you understand the problems the characters in Bad Girls Club faced and that you will use that information to help someone you know who is suffering. Remember, dysfunctional families thrive on hiding their secrets. But it's unhealthy and it destroys children.

BE A HERO

Perhaps you can be a hero and help someone like Destiny! You could be their only link to sanity. Think about it. It only takes one person to save a life.
